Responsible for Project Development and Quality

Christopher Borghi ideated and raised funds to create VC4Climate.  He is leading the afforestation rewilding and mangrove programmes. He is also responsible for the verification and quality control of projects. Co-creator of one of the first carbon credit insurance suite with our partners We2Sure.

Chris previously worked on pre-financing and structuring multiyear sales contracts and to fund forestry projects in Brazil. He was instrumental in the management and successful divestment of our stake in a European carbon credit company.

He holds a B.Sc. in Industrial Economics from the University of Nottingham.
